One of the most memorable moments of Asian Games 2018 was Indian pugilist Amit Panghal clinching a gold by defeating Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov. In an exclusive chat with News18 India's Vimal Kumar, the 22-year-old pugilist said that he had trained well to tackle the southpaw pugilist. In fact during his training stint in UK, he along with the coaches emphasized on the need of training with left-handed boxers, that reaped him great benefits.

Toor had dedicated his Gold medal to his ailing father, Karam Singh, who had been battling with cancer for the last two years. After winning the medal with a throw which smashed the Asian Games and national record (20.75m), he had said, “A lot of sacrifices have been made by my family and friends, and all those have paid off today. Now I will meet my dad but I will be there for only two days.”
